Holliday Development employs a dedicated, creative, and industrious team with a diverse set of skills. We work collaboratively on all of our projects, bringing expertise in entitlements, design, construction, finance, and marketing. We make our work fun and engaging, passionately challenging each other in every direction. Lead by Rick and Nancy, this energetic team defines the classic concept that small businesses do great things.

CAL Inman

Cal joined the Holliday Development Team in 2005 after graduating from USC with a major in entrepreneurial studies and real estate finance. Since then he has overseen all aspects of the development of the Pacific Cannery Lofts as the project’s manager and continues to focus his project management attention to a number of future HD projects. Cal lives in the Tenderloin in San Francisco and loves to bike, sail, snowboard and surf.
CLEYA Ormiston

Cleya joined the Holliday Development team in 2008 after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelors degree in Urban Studies, a minor in the Social and Cultural Factors in Environmental Design, and the Chancellor's Award for Public Service. Cleya is part of the development team and is a project manager for the current HD projects. Originally from Davis, Cleya is excited to be living in San Francisco now and enjoys biking, cooking, making jewelry, and exploring the City.
JONES Holliday
As a stress reduction manager with Holliday Development, Jones is a natural at her craft. While the office hums with new ideas and existing projects, Jones keeps everyone calm by trying to share her bone, napping, and checking in with each team member at least a couple of times daily. A Bay Area native, Jones lives in Berkeley with Rick and Nancy. Her favorite project is the Truckee Railyard because it has the best pinecones (aka doggie Altoids) on the planet.
KEVIN Brown

“KB” applies his passion for marketing by focusing on the coordination between the marketing, branding, and sales strategy with the overall project execution. After receiving a degree from Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business with an emphasis on Finance and Psychology, he returned to his Bay Area roots and lives in Oakland with his wife Andi, dog Tucker, and cat Henry. He is also an active cyclist and USAT tri-athlete.
NANCY Holliday

Nancy has been involved behind the scenes of Holliday Development since the company¹s inception and is responsible for 50% of the original $300,000 sweat equity that Rick tapped in 1988 when he founded the company. Formally trained in exercise physiology and sport psychology at UC Berkeley, Nancy worked in corporate health promotion and cardiac rehabilitation for over 10 years. She was introduced to design by jumping in and taking over the design center at 601 4th St. in the summer of 1990. She then created her own company, DesignMesh, designing interiors, websites and print materials for HD and a number of both for-profit and non-profit companies. She is also the company photographer and continues her creative work at HD.
RICK Holliday, Founder

Bay Area native Rick Holliday graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, earning both an undergraduate degree in urban policy, and a master’s degree in city and regional planning. He went on to first launch Eden Housing and later BRIDGE Housing Corporation, two of the most successful affordable-housing corporations in the nation, before starting Holliday Development in 1988. Rick oversees the strategic, corporate, and political positioning of Holliday Development. Additionally, he is chairman of the board of BRIDGE Housing Corporation, and a guest lecturer for the Urban Land Institute, the University of New Mexico’s graduate program in Real Estate, and the Real Estate MBA Program at his alma mater. Married with two grown daughters, he currently resides in Berkeley.
TERRI Fishburn

Terri has rejoined the Holliday Development team after five years with BRIDGE Housing as Project Accountant and prior engagement with Holliday Development as Accounts Project Manager from 1994 to 1999. Her expertise in financial analysis and accounting management is enhanced by her previous real estate project management and construction services experience. Terri lives in Oakland, Califoria with her partner.
CHERYL Lima

Cheryl joined the Holliday Development Team in 2009 after working in project management and pursuing her own development project in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Cheryl received a Master of Architecture in Real Estate Development from Woodbury University's "Architect-Developer" program in San Diego, after completing her Bachelor of Architecture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. At HD, Cheryl takes care of anything and everything in the office as well as assisting with development projects. In her free time, Cheryl enjoys exploring development opportunities and spending time with her new husband, Julio and designer mutts - Tiger and Cello.
